beta 2 is open for business

WOO HOO!!  We've been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to release beta 2 and open it up for the general public to use beendo email beta.  The time has finally come :)

Over the past 2 months, excluding holidays, we have been soliciting feedback from a group of 30 testers.  Although we weren't able to address all the issues/complaints/requests, we got the application to a state where we felt more comfortable expanding the user base.

Please visit the registration page and check it out.  Email feedback@beendo.com with your thoughts -- we want them all!  And every Tuesday, we expect to scratch a couple of your requests off the list and build a great app.

Enjoy and thank you for your support.

beta registration opening to the public!

Because of the holidays, it's kind of hard to say how long we've been in private testing of our email aggregation application.  But we've had some pretty loyal users since well before Thanksgiving -- and the feedback has helped us clean up the UI and some little bugs here and there.

We're not saying the product is perfect, because we're still in beta.  But we're ready to open registration up for general use on January 7th.

We're committed to continually enhancing beendo until we're satisfying the mass market's needs and desires.  Jason's been promoting enhancements every Tuesday for the past 8 weeks now (minus Christmas and New Years, cause that'd just be ridiculous).  So when you find things that aren't quite the way you like it, or if you have some suggestions or weird experiences--please email feedback@beendo.com to ensure we get them scoped and scheduled into a release.

So in 2 more days, look for Beendo Email Beta to consolidate your web based and POP/IMAP accounts for you :) No more logging into Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, Gmail and opening Outlook!

new servers, new blog!

Hey folks,

We had to decommission the old blog running on the old hosted server while we were developing the beendo beta application.  It took us a little time as we were still in development and we had to switch from Wordpress to Pebble to host our blog.  Pebble is pretty cool!!

This is the first of many entries, we just wanted you all to know that our blog is back online and we have some cool stuff to talk about this year!

As for all those older and very entertaining posts from the previous blog -- I'm trying to migrate them, but if it is too hard, we might have to give up.  Don't worry, I have lots of good material ;)

Stay tuned.
